Description
This is the rare original hand-built Latvian made Blue Baby Bottle Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone.
BLUE = Baltic Latvian Universal Electronic
This mic is from the era when Juris Zarins of now famous and excellent JZ Microphones was involved with BLUE’s manufacturing.
All the current models are made in China and are inferior. Blue Microphones is owned and operated by mouse and keyboard maker Logitech. There was a short time when Baby Bottles were made in the USA with Latvian parts but that period didn’t last long before moving overseas.
These original Latvian made mics are superior in sound reproduction in my humble opinion, a fuller and darker vintage sound.
